KNIGHT’s KEEP

Johd Kavken – Cleric of Hieroneous come to serve the needs of the local lord and spread the wisdom of his god. Appointed as a Judge by Lord Bronin, he has been given authority to establish a justice code of law based on the beliefs of Hieroneous.
Egarian Thalasar – Tax collector and clerk for Kragis’Aer.
Fiddlebow – A pixie with ties to powerful fae.
Akiros Ismort – Former First Lieutenant of the Stag Lord and ex-paladin of Heironeous. Convinced by Simon Shieller to turn on the Stag Lord and seek redemption through Heironeous.
Dovan Nisroch – Former Second Lieutenant of the Stag Lord. After months of imprisonment, was released for serving night duty under threat of a werewolf attack. Has been tasked by Lord Bronin with exploring and preparing a dangerous area of the Greenbelt for settlement.
Ayles Megesen – Former bandit of the Stag Lord. After months of imprisonment, was released after serving night duty under threat of Werewolf attack.
Tyce – Former bandit of the Stag Lord. After months of imprisonment, was released after serving night duty under threat of Werewolf attack.
Tory – Former bandit of the Stag Lord. After months of imprisonment, was released after serving night duty under threat of Werewolf attack.
Ruck – A bandit under Kressle at the Thorn Ford Bandit Camp. Given his freedom after assisting in the fall of the Stag Lord.
Saki – Barmaid and close friend of Lili.
Arven the Fisherman – A fisherman. Member of Oleg’s Drinking Club.
Stas – A local lumberjack. Once charmed and held for ransom by the nixie Melianse, Stas has developed strong feelings of affection for her. Member of Oleg’s Drinking Club.
Dozor Alacan – A travelling apothecary and trader of rare items.
Walbry – Dozor Alacan’s apprentice and servant boy.
Armaki – An ale merchant and Innkeeper of the Holy Bottle.
Faelin – A prostitute.
Corax – Logger with a bad attitude.
Tig Tannerson – A troublesome and stubborn boy, but tough and fearless. Simon and Gregory have taken an interest in the boy both morally and spiritually. He was assigned to protect the Lord’s treasury in order to keep him out of trouble and has taken the job a little too seriously.
Katig Tannerson – Tig’s father. A logger employed by Corax.
Mabel Tannerson – Tig’s mother. A cook working for Armaki.
Loy Rezbin – Wildlander woodsman and trader from Glenfarg. A political exile.
Latricia Evanore – Wildlander from Glenfarg. Loy’s wife. Cleric of the Shalm. A political exile.

The Coven of Cegilune
Malgorzata “Goody” Niska – Called Goody Niska by most, this woman was captured, held hostage, and raped by the Stag Lord for months. She held bitterness and hatred towards all men, possibly more so after harsh treatment from Lord Bronin. A member of a Coven of Cegilune, Goody was killed in a fight against the Lords of the Land the night she gave birth.
Elva – A fishwife in Knight’s Keep. Secretly a Black Sister of Cegilune, acting as a member of the Coven of Cegilune with Goody Niska. Was killed in a fight against the Lords of the Land the night Goody gave birth.
Luna – A young prostitute. A member of the Coven of Cegilune with Goody Niska. Was killed in a fight against the Lords of the Land the night Goody gave birth.
Magda – Arven the fisherman’s wife. A member of the Coven of Cegilune with Goody Niska. Was killed in a fight against the Lords of the Land the night Goody gave birth.
Agatha – An old crippled widow. A member of the Coven of Cegilune with Goody Niska. Was killed in a fight against the Lords of the Land the night Goody gave birth.
A Mysterious Hooded Woman – Another unknown Black Sister of Cegilune who assisted Elva the night Goody gave birth. Escaped by boat into Lake Tuskwater.

Oleg Baenor – Proprietor of Oleg’s Trading Post.
Svetlana Baenor – Oleg’s wife.
Vekkel Benzen – A retired hunter who lost a leg to the boar Tuskgutter. Member of Oleg’s Drinking Club.
Breeg Orlivanch – Disreputable trapper. Member of Oleg’s Drinking Club.
Tomin Hanvaki – An mixed blood Ascari who came to the Greenbelt for logging work but was recruited by Sir Gregory and sent to Oleg’s to be trained as a cavalier under Sir Quentin Jor.
Rhynis the Cidercloud – Female gnome Mastercrafter and student of alchemy from Kragis’Aer.

THE ORDER OF THE DRAGONCAVALIERS SWORN TO LORD BRONIN
Sir Kesten Garess – Order of the Dragon. A landless noble from Aradhel, Kesten leads a group of cavaliers formed and trained by elven wardens of the northern forests to protect against the evil of a great white dragon that terrorized the region for centuries. However, the dragon was defeated over twenty years ago and they have found trouble finding their place without a common cause. Kesten has asked those remaining in the Order to travel south with him to the Chartered Lands and seek a worthy Lord to serve. Not all in his company agree with him, and his company has suffered attrition as those with the greatest differences of opinion strike out to forge their own destiny.

Sir Quentan Jor – Former Order of the Dragon, now sworn to the Order of the Shield with Sir Gregory.

Ungar Oakfoot – Former Order of the Dragon. A tough older cavalier with a wooden foot.
Sir Dariel Uthson – Former Order of the Dragon. Half-Elf son of Vivien Songveil. Turned back for Aradhel after finding the Lords of the Chartered Lands distasteful.
Sir Villamor Koth – Former Order of the Dragon. Feeling Kesten was too weak and the Chartered Lords unworthy of him, Villamor has struck off to find glory and honor on his own terms.

Bixen Libixyten – Gnome brewer.
Jubilost Narthropple – Gnome trader and Cartographer.

THE SOOTSCALE KOBOLDS
Mikmek Flamejumper – A kobold found and rescued from the Mites of the Old Sycamore. Earned his “name” by twice jumping over a flaming ball of magical fire summoned by the Shaman Tartuk.
Chief Sootscale – Leader of the Sootscale kobolds.
Tartuk – A kobold shaman that convinced the Sootscale tribe to worship a demon or suffer a curse. The Lords of the Greenbelt found his small silver idol with the Mites of the Old Sycamore and brought it to Chief Sootscale in hopes of forming diplomatic relations. Instead, the Chief destroyed the statue and, together with the Lords, defeated and killed Tartuk. Later it was learned that Tartuk was once a gnome who had been killed by trolls then reincarnated as a Kobold. Apparently driven mad by the process, he ran away and ended up tormenting the Sootscales.
Auchs – Myhm’s brother. A former Lieutenant of the Stag Lord, Auchs is a simpleton, rendered so by a beating suffered at the hands of the Stag Lord’s men many years ago. He is a huge man with a curious knowledge of nature, and is capable of minor druidic magic.

THE GREENBELT
Bokken – Eccentric hermit and potion-maker.
Beldame – Myhm’s Mother. Lives in a hovel northwest of Knight’s Keep.
Kobb – A woodsman who helped raise and train the Stag Lord. Had a falling out with him and left his service a few years ago.
Ichabod “The Black” Nikkan – A bandit captured at the Battle of Thorn Ford. Later released for good behavior. Later suffered a curse while exploring the Temple of the Old Gods that turned his skin midnight-black.
Malorio the Great – A satyr fond of playing pranks.
Melianse – A nixie. “Sister” to the dryad Tiressia.
Tiressia – A dryad. Malorio’s lover.

THE GRAVEYARD
Happs Bydon – Bandit under Kressle. Killed during a raid at Oleg’s Trading Post.
Kressle – A tough female Lieutenant of the Stag Lord. Killed at the Battle of Thorn Ford.
The Stag Lord – Bandit Lord. Addicted to Feywine. Claimed by his mother to be the rightful Lord of the Greenbelt. The time of his birth indicates that he might not be the true son of Hagarth Argin. Killed at the Battle of the Fort.
Lord Hagarth Argin – A Lord from Kor who remained in the Greenbelt after the Empire withdrew. Once a worshiper of the Old Gods, he turned away from them at his wife’s behest in order to enact a blasphemous fertility ritual. He was turned into a shambling mound for his lack of faith and cursed to guard the Temple of the Old Gods until his death.
Lady Alissa Argin – Wife of Hagarth Argin and Mother of the Stag Lord. An evil witch, she resided in caves below the Stag Lord’s Fort. Killed shortly after her son’s defeat.
Cragger – Bandit. Eaten by Owlbear.
Jex the Snitch – Bandit. Killed at the battle of the Fort.
Fat Norry – Bandit. Killed at the battle of the Fort.
Dirty Jeb Megesen – Bandit. Killed at the battle of the Fort.
Odom and Eldrada – Unicorns. Eldrada sacrificed herself to join Odom after he was killed by a magical force.
Beven – A Shepherd boy and once member of Oleg’s Drinking Club. Killed near Syradel by a the werewolf Kundal.
Norben – A Merchant. Killed by the werewolf Kundal.
Kundal – A Wildlander Logger employed by Corax. Bitten by a werewolf, he contracted the curse himself and terrorized Knight’s Keep for a couple months before he was caught and killed by Sir Gregory, Sir Ungar, Dovan, and Akiros.
Lily Teskertin – A flirtatious, and tempestuous, barmaid. Sacrificed during the birth of Goody Niska’s child.
